The Boyles received a special Thanks for Giving honor, The Joan Hay-Madeira Award.
Joan Hay Madeira, affectionately known as Joanie, was a chaplain who was passionate about the chaplain’s role in hospice care. Deeply committed to the Treasure Coast Hospice mission, her name graces the chapel at the Mayes Center and one of our Inpatient Units. Joanie was also a past recipient of the Thanks for Giving Award.
In recognition of her tremendous generosity and philanthropic legacy, the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation Board named a special Thanks for Giving honor as The Joan Hay-Madeira Award several years ago. It is not an annual award and has only been presented to two other recipients. The Boyles are the third Thanks for Giving honoree to receive this special recognition
