The Pyc Family of New York wanted to keep “Papa Cox’s” memory alive for his grandchildren, Aleksander, Cooper and Sophia. So they made a gift to the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation for an 8-inch by 8-inch memorial brick at the fountain at the entrance of the Mayes Center for Hope in Stuart.
By special arrangement, they had their brick placed next to one the children’s grandmother had purchased after their grandfather passed away in 2009. Shortly after the new memorial was placed, the Pyc Family paid a visit to make tracings of the brick to take home with them.
