Needs assessments
We start by learning what you and your pet need, then shape a plan that fits your home.

For many patients, a pet is more than a companion—it is family, comfort, and unconditional love. Treasured Pets helps eligible patients continue caring for the animals they love and provides peace of mind by helping families plan for a pet's future when needed.

What we help with
When caring for a pet becomes too much, our volunteers and partners step in with the everyday tasks that keep an animal happy and well. Support is tailored to your pet and adjusts gently as needs change.

We start by learning what you and your pet need, then shape a plan that fits your home.
We coordinate basic vet care and grooming through trusted local providers to keep your pet well.
Volunteers drive your pet to and from vet and grooming visits, handling the details for you.
Volunteers help with dog walking and play, keeping your pet active when you can't manage it alone.
We deliver pet food, bedding, and everyday supplies to your door, so your companion never goes without.
When it's needed, we help plan lovingly for your pet's future, honoring your wishes for its care.
How you can help
Treasured Pets runs entirely on our community's generosity. Whether you have time, resources, a spare room, or a pet-focused business, there's a meaningful way to help patients and their companions stay together.

Welcome a Treasured Pet into your home temporarily while we arrange a permanent placement.
Adopt a gentle Treasured Pet whose owner has passed or asked us to plan for its future.
Vet clinics, groomers, and pet-supply businesses can register to help keep patients and pets together.

Finding forever homes
One of the most tender parts of Treasured Pets is finding loving new homes for pets whose owners have passed, or who asked us to plan ahead. These are gentle, mature animals ready to comfort a new family.
These older pets are calm, house-trained, and affectionate — a wonderful match for an easygoing home.
Every pet is vaccinated, recently checked by a vet, and groomed before joining its new family.
Offer a permanent Forever Home, or foster as a Pet Pal while a pet waits. We guide you throughout.
Whether you need help caring for a pet, want to make plans for the future, or would like to support a patient and their companion, the Treasured Pets team is ready to help.
