Cookie Policy
Effective Date: August 6, 2026
How Treasure Health uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and the choices you have.
Overview
Treasure Health uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (“Site”) to improve your experience, understand website usage, enhance security, and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes more broadly how we collect, use, and share personal information.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit and improve functionality.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. Examples include security, form submissions, session management, and accessibility features. Because they are required for the Site to operate, they cannot be disabled through a website-based control; you can only limit them by adjusting your browser settings directly, which may affect Site functionality.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These cookies help us understand pages visited, time spent on the website, navigation patterns, device information, and browser information. The information is aggregated and used to improve the website. We do not transmit protected health information (“PHI”) to Google Analytics, and we have configured the tool with IP anonymization and restricted data sharing where applicable. Analytics cookies do not fire on pages or screens where you submit or view health information.
Advertising Cookies
We use technologies including Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). These cookies help us measure advertising performance, understand which marketing campaigns are effective, display Treasure Health advertisements on participating platforms, and limit repetitive advertisements. These technologies may collect IP address, browser information, pages viewed, and advertising interactions.
Treasure Health does not sell your personal information.
Embedded Content Cookies
Some pages may include embedded content from third parties, including YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps, and social media platforms. These providers may place cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies, which are outside our control.
Important scoping. Consistent with HHS guidance on online tracking technologies, advertising pixels and similar tracking technologies are scoped to fire only on unauthenticated marketing pages of the Site (for example, the homepage and educational content pages). They do not fire on pages where you submit health information or otherwise interact with PHI. We do not transmit PHI to any advertising platform, and we instruct our advertising partners not to process PHI on our behalf.
The advertising platforms may use what they receive from unauthenticated marketing pages to identify you across devices and websites, to connect your activity here with your activity elsewhere, and to serve you ads on their own services and across the web. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies, alongside this one.
Managing Cookies
We do not currently operate a cookie consent banner or an on-site cookie preference center. You can manage cookies through the tools your browser and device already provide, including viewing stored cookies, deleting them, blocking them, or setting your browser to notify you before cookies are stored. Instructions vary by browser and are typically available in your browser's settings or help documentation. You can find out more about Cookies and how to manage them by visiting www.AboutCookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.
For advertising cookies specifically, you can manage your preferences directly by following the instructions found at these links:
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/about/ads
Blocking or deleting cookies through any of these methods may affect how portions of the Site function. If you choose to block all Cookies (including essential Cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of the Site.
You can understand which entities have currently enabled Cookies for your browser or mobile device and how to opt-out of some of those Cookies by accessing the Network Advertising Initiative’s website or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s website. For more information on mobile specific opt-out choices, visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s Mobile Choices website.
Please note that these opt-out mechanisms are specific to the device or browser on which they are exercised. Therefore, you will need to opt out on every browser and device that you use.
Do Not Track
Some internet browsers include a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Because there is not a uniform way that browsers communicate the “Do Not Track” signals, Treasure Health does not currently interpret, respond to, or alter its practices when it receives “Do Not Track” signals.
Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically, including if we adopt a cookie consent tool in the future. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
